Is there going to be a module that can support checks on VMWARE services, cpu memory?

 Re: Support for VMWARE
The software supports both memory and cpu for any Windows OS with WMI. I'll look into network interfaces for VMWare and get back to you.

 Re: Support for VMWARE
If you need to monitor a Windows Service that is currently possible. Could you please elaborate on the functionality needed?

 Re: Support for VMWARE
ESX has nothing to do with Windows services. I believe we're talking Unix. And we need to know if a drive in a raid array goes down, etc. gary

 Re: Support for VMWARE
If you want to monitor when a disk fails, configure your RAID device to fire a syslog message when a disk fails. Use our Log Manager software to monitor the syslog messages, once received, the software will immediately notify you of the failure by way of email, text message or page.

 Re: Support for VMWARE
Have you actually done this? I'm not sure I would know how. A tutorial based on a fairly vanilla setup (Dell server) would really be useful... gary

 Re: Support for VMWARE
Many of our customers monitor their RAID devices using SYSLOG alerts. Each RAID device is different so you will need to consult the hardware documentation. If your RAID device is internal to your Dell server the device should interface with Windows enabling our Disk Monitor software to monitor the SMART status value directly without the need for syslog events.
