 Unable to retrieve SMART status.
I monitor several Windows Server and some Linux Server. In the daily Report I get the following error message from the Linux server:
Report Manager, Unable to retrieve SMART status. Error: Unable to retrieve logical disk. Error Class not registered Event ID 10009, DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer Server using any of the configured protocols.
The disk summary report from the Linux Server are OK, but this message appears daily. In the Disk Monitor Wizard ist the "Monitor SMART status disable" How can I fix these errors? Thanks

Re: Unable to retrieve SMART status.
SMART status is retrieved via WMI which is not present on Linux or any other Unix flavor that I am aware of. Please open the configuration wizard for the Linux machine and disable the SMART monitor.

Re: Unable to retrieve SMART status.
The Smart Monitor was and is disabled on this machine in the disk monitor wizard. When I click on the Linux machine and runs a scan. Then is the result this smart message error. Can I disable this in a different location? Then my Windows Event Viewer report a many error for this Smart Monitor message.
