Post Time field configuring Download/Distirbuted schedules
We're running English language of windows server (with latest CBLM, .155) but have some of the locale settings configured for our region (Sweden) due to convinience

When we're configures diffrent downloads/distributed/archive and other similar settings there are a time field (image) in which we can choose when it should e.g start download or exluded time fram when inte should not download.

It's in a 12-hour clock (AM/PM) format and in our GUI atleast it's without indication of AM/PM e.g 5:00. This is making it really hard to see directly in the GUI, is this download schedule for 24-hour clock (24H) 05:00 in the morning or 17:00 evening.

Is it possible to get the AM/PM inidcation, are we missing something? Or maybe even better directly in a 24-hour clock format?

Looking into the problem it looks like the Sweden locale does uses the 24 hour clock and does not include AM/PM. Is that correct? The Microsoft control is ignoring the tt tag we include in the custom format. I think we will need to either use the 24 hour clock everywhere or write our own control.

Hi,

Yes, Swedish locale does use the 24 hour clock. And we get no indication of these tt tag (AM/PM) in our GUI as you say, so to know what [5:00] exactly is then becomes somewhat difficult; is it 5:00AM/05:00 or 5:00PM/17:00

Well, I personally would prefer the 24 hour clock solution, but thats just whats more familiar for me.

OK here's what we'll do. We will create our own Time Control that is derived from Microsoft's DateTimePicker which on load looks at the current time and parses the string value for "am" and "pm", if found the hh:mm tt format will be used otherwise HH:mm time will be used.

Hi,

This works perfectly! We now get the time field in a 24 hour clock format. Thanks!

The changes were made in our framework. As soon as we rebuild each product you will see the fixes. We expect to release a new build of Disk Monitor by Monday morning.
